International Security Expo London Features Perimeter Protection Zone

The International Security Expo 2025 (September 30–October 1, Olympia London) featured a dedicated Perimeter Protection zone alongside its established Drone & Counter UAV exhibition area — a pairing that reflects the growing convergence between traditional perimeter detection and airborne threat mitigation.

The Perimeter Protection zone included an LPCB Live Testing Lab, where Loss Prevention Certification Board assessors conducted real-time forced-entry testing of certified perimeter products. LPCB testing to LPS 1175 is the UK standard for physical security products rated against tool-based attack, and live demonstration at a trade show gives specifiers a rare opportunity to observe rated products under test conditions.

The adjacent Drone & Counter UAV zone underscored a theme that has gained traction throughout 2025: perimeter security is no longer a purely ground-level discipline. Facilities that invest in fence sensors, radar, and camera analytics for terrestrial threats face a growing requirement to detect and respond to airborne intrusion — delivery drones, surveillance drones, and in military contexts, armed unmanned systems.

The co-location of perimeter and counter-drone exhibitions at ISE London signals that the UK security market — driven by CPNI and Ministry of Defence requirements — is ahead of most commercial markets in treating aerial threats as an integral component of perimeter detection specification.
