Magal Secures $3.5M Airport Security Contracts Including Barcelona and New Delhi

Senstar Technologies parent company Magal Security Systems has received orders totalling approximately $3.5 million for integrated security solutions at several major international airports, including Barcelona–El Prat and Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi.

The contracts cover video management and analytics, intrusion detection systems, and Magal's FORTIS 4G physical security information management platform. A framework order for ongoing maintenance is included.

Airport perimeter security represents a consistent revenue stream for Magal's Senstar division, which manufactures fence-mounted sensors, buried cable detection, and video analytics used at aviation facilities globally. The company's perimeter products are deployed at airports across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Magal Security Systems, now a subsidiary of RAFAEL Advanced Defense Systems through the Aeronautics Ltd acquisition (2021), reported these orders as part of its ongoing airport and critical infrastructure portfolio. The company has previously secured perimeter detection contracts at one of Asia's busiest cargo airports (2021, multi-million dollar) and multiple seaport facilities in Europe and Africa.

The airport perimeter security market continues to grow, driven by regulatory requirements, drone incursion concerns, and the need to protect expanding terminal infrastructure.
