SightLogix Unveils Next-Gen SightSensor with 5x AI Processing

SightLogix has announced the next-generation platform for its flagship SightSensor smart thermal AI camera, featuring a dedicated AI core that delivers five times the CPU processing power of its predecessor.

The new SightSensor platform incorporates a next-generation processor with dedicated AI silicon, enabling parallel complex analytics on-device without cloud dependency. The AI library is trained on over two million real-world thermal images, and the 20% faster thermal frame rate improves detection and tracking of fast-moving targets — a capability relevant to vehicle intrusion, perimeter breach response, and drone detection scenarios.

SightLogix positions the upgrade as an industry first for the processor implementation in perimeter thermal cameras. All AI inference runs at the edge, meaning the system operates independently of network connectivity — a requirement for remote and military perimeter installations where cloud-dependent systems introduce latency and single-point-of-failure risk.

In March 2025, SightLogix introduced dual-spectrum thermal-visible AI, correlating thermal and visible imaging in real-time on its dual-sensor SightSensor models to reduce false alarms at longer detection ranges. The next-gen platform announcement builds on this with the processing headroom to run both thermal and visible AI models simultaneously.

SightLogix, headquartered in Princeton Junction, New Jersey, specialises in outdoor thermal AI cameras for critical infrastructure, military, energy, and correctional perimeter applications.
